Medienlinker is an independent Swedish digital news publisher, founded in 2024, that delivers clear, practical coverage of Swedish news, politics, economics, culture, society and current affairs for readers in Sweden and internationally. Our tagline – “Nachrichten, Analysen und Hintergründe für Deutschland” – reflects our commitment to trustworthy journalism that helps audiences understand complex issues without spin or oversimplification.
What do we cover?
We cover Swedish politics (riksdagen, government, municipal policy), the economy (markets, household finance, business), culture, lifestyle, society and current affairs. Every article is written with the aim of explaining not just what happened but why it matters, whether you are in Stockholm or abroad.
Our reporting spans national and local developments, from legislative changes to cultural trends, with a particular focus on how Swedish events connect to European and global contexts. We avoid partisan framing and prioritise clarity and accuracy over speed.
How do we work?
Every piece of editorial content at Medienlinker is drafted by a named writer, reviewed by an editor and fact-checked before publication. We maintain a strict separation between editorial decisions and commercial interests.
Our editorial workflow is outlined in our Editorial Policy and Fact‑Checking Policy. AI‑assisted tools may support research, drafting or formatting, but they never replace human editorial judgement. No article reaches you without a human editor’s final approval. We do not allow AI to fabricate quotes, sources, interviews or expert profiles.
Who is responsible for what we publish?
Sebastian Lorenz, Chefredaktör (anders.lindqvist@medienlinker.de, +46 8 525 030 61), is responsible for editorial standards, publication decisions and corrections. Melanie Vogt, Redaktionschef (karin.bergstrom@medienlinker.de, +46 8 525 030 62), runs the daily newsroom, oversees headline review and commissions coverage.
The editorial team also includes Alexander Dietrich (Politikredaktör), Laura Pfeiffer (Wirtschaftreporter), Daniel Neumann (Kultur- och samhällsredaktör) and Sandra Mayer (Ansvarig för faktagranskning). Full biographies and contact details are on our Our Team page.
What you can expect from us
We publish journalism that is accurate, fair and clearly sourced. Every story is reviewed by at least one editor, and any sponsored or commercial material is explicitly labelled. Affiliate links are disclosed; commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions.
We are committed to transparency about our methods and funding. If we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and visibly. Our Corrections Policy and Fact‑Checking Policy set out how we handle errors and verify information.
Who owns Medienlinker?
Medienlinker is owned and operated by Nordklar Media Ltd, a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). The registered office is Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. Main phone: +356 2138 9009. Swedish editorial line: +49 30 577 013 49.
Although the company is registered in Gibraltar, our editorial focus and operations are entirely Swedish. We report on Sweden from a Swedish perspective, with a team based in Stockholm and across Europe. Corporate registration does not influence our editorial independence.
How do we handle mistakes?
Errors are corrected as soon as they are identified. Readers can report inaccuracies via our corrections email (corrections@medienlinker.de) or by using the contact form on our Contact page. We investigate each report and publish a correction notice if warranted.
Our fact‑checking team, led by Sandra Mayer, verifies claims, sources and data before publication. We also maintain a public log of significant corrections. For full details, see our Corrections Policy and Fact‑Checking Policy.
How is our journalism funded?
Medienlinker is supported by display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. All sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled; affiliate links are disclosed.
Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over our editorial conclusions. Our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure and Ownership & Funding pages provide full details of our revenue sources and commercial relationships.
